Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have control over the information that the tax office (HMRC) holds about your tax affairs! Well….in all credit to HMRC, you can!

What is a Personal Tax Account (PTA)?

The Personal Tax Account system is a new online resource HMRC has launched to enable you to view and make changes to your information online. It is intended that you will be able to manage your tax affairs through the account rather than phoning or writing to HMRC.

By setting up your HMRC Personal Tax Account (PTA), you will be able to:

View and manage your tax affairs in a secure environment
Access information on your Income, Tax Paid and Tax Code
Manage your Tax Credits and State Pension
Keep HMRC up to date with any changes to your situation
Easily access important tax information
Check to make sure you are paying the right tax
Share viewer access with your accountant/tax agent

Start Your PTA
